Mommy & Me Tour of EYMM

I am reviewing patterns from EYMM (Everything Your Mama Made) I made the Sasha and Natasha for my daughter and I. They are available together in a bundle or you can purchase separately.  They are these very cool peasant style dolman tops. I am really wanting to make some in chiffon. I love sheer tops with volume.

I originally had a vision of creating 2 completely different looks and prints, but I caved and made matching ones. I did her neck with the ribbon and elastic waist. I chose to do my neck elastic and make the tunic length.
This was a really easy pattern to make. It took me 90 minutes to sew both shirts! I call that pretty amazing! And when you belt it, it really gives you all sorts of fashionable looks.
I had no issues at all. Kymy’s instructions make any sewing level very comfortable. One of the best things with her patterns is the assembly process. No trimming the papers. Just tape or glue and they are ready to go. It makes the sewing process so fast!
I loved being a part of this blog tour. Don’t forget to check the other links to see what the ladies are making.

Are those matching mother daughter shirts? Why yes, they are.
She loves that we match.

Dun nuh nuh nuh nuh Batman!

She is such a natural, unlike this \/
Why do I always look so awkward?

Maybe a head tilt and weird hand bend will make it better.

Oh, who am I kidding.
I am such a goofy looking person in posed photos.

I do sort of love this, even if the fabric makes me look pregnant.
NOTE: This is the angle, not the shirt 😉
