EYMM Anniversary Tour: Girl Time

Are you ready for a big sale and pretty awesomous line up of bloggers on tour? EYMM aka Everything Your Mama Made & More is celebrating their 2nd Anniversary with a big pattern tour and BIG sale!

I decided to make the super fast and easy Kymy Dolman. You can find my previous makes: The Piko HERE, the Off Shoulder Tunic HERE and the Sasha & Natasha HERE. I originally planned on making the Carlie with my Kymy, but I didn’t have it yet 😦 Sad panda. However, the bloggers were given the newly released Capsule skirt for the blog tour so I made that for my daughter instead.

Both of these patterns are modern, flattering staple items for your closet and they go together amazingly fast! The easiest view of the dolman is 4 seams and the hems. Mine was made from an ITY remnant that wasn’t even a full yard.  This silver and black animal print was loud and sexy, so I cut an extra 2 1/2 inches off of the neck width so that it would fall off a shoulder. And since this was a very slinky knit, I made a size small when I fall into the size Medium. Perfect!!

Pattern Details:
No trim pages
Layers to print only the sizes you need
Sizes XS-5X
5 different views: Basic, Banded, Hi-Low, Ruched and Tunic
Pattern for Knits
Beginner pattern

Of course, I had to do things a little different with the Capsule skirt as well, which will actually be a part of my daughter’s Time for School Capsule. I used a striped woven for the skirt, a skull knit for the pockets and black lycra knit for the waistband. I knew since it was a half circle skirt that it should still work fine with woven and create a little more fullness. This is the perfect skater skirt pattern and comes in so many sizes. You will be able to covere baby all the way to teen. My daughter adores it and I know it will get tons of wear in her wardrobe.

Pattern Details:
Sizes NB to 18
3 lengths to accomodate diapers/bottoms or create a mild hi low
2 rises and 2 types of waistbands: yoga and foldover
Inseam pockets
Layers to print only the sizes you need
Doll size included
Beginner to confident beginner level

Both of these patterns went together so fast. They will get tons of wear in my closet and my daughter’s and they take minimal time and fabric.
