Have you noticed the Moto trend in clothing, especially kid’s clothes? I love that style and love the edginess that it gives kids looks. Maybe it is thanks to Sons of Anarchy 😉 When Jennuine Design (affiliate link) was putting together a blog tour for her Moto Jacket (affiliate link), I knew I had to be a part of it. The pattern was already sitting there staring at me, but I couldn’t settle on what to use. My middle daughter doesn’t get nearly as much made for her since I test more patterns in the other sizes so I knew I had to let her be the one I made this for. Plus she loves coats!

She got to looking through my fabric, and chose this skull print from the Wicked Eve line. Yeah, she is definitely my child! I lined it with this fun gray and white knit, and used a gray cableknit sweater for the sleeves and cowl. I left off the pockets because I couldn’t decide if it was the look I was wanting. Either way, it worked out great! And she loves it!!! Daddy calls her the Angel, so I used some lace I had on hand and appliqued angel wings on the back of the jacket. It was a nice soft touch to a pretty tough print. Now Daddy has dubbed her Angel of Death hahaha, We shall see about that one.
