Hello and Happy Halloween also known as All Hallows Eve. Tonight is the night many believe is the time that the dead can briefly reenter the living world. The traditional start of Dia de los Muertos starts with All Hallow’s Eve and goes through November 2nd. It is really so interesting to see how many different cultures feel in respect to death.
Today we have 3 amazing bloggers with 3 very unique takes on Dia de los Muertos
First is one of my very favorite pattern designers, Filles a Maman. She did a free motion stitch that created a unique textile design. Click the photo to read more.
2nd person up is the amazing and talented Wild & Wanderful. This girl is out of control with all her makes. She put together a tutorial to make rose granny squares. Man, I wish I could crochet! Click the photo to read more
Last- but not least- is my lovely friend all the way in Japan from Just Add Fabric. She has some of the best fabric because she is in close proximity to awesome fabric suppliers. She shared how her own culture respects the deceased, and I love learning more. Click the photo to read more
